The shape of Mayan temples I saw in Guatemala 30 years ago is
something I’ve been carrying in my pocket ever since. I get it out on
a regular basis and utilize it to satisfy a nostalgia for oughtness in
life.  Whether it’s a small scale sculpture or a large church altar, it
always seems to satisfy me.
